  2. Thanks for visiting and the comment Dmitrich. I didn't know thet it's Ostankino (thogh I was there long ago). Anyway it's prepared from a book cover: "Socialist Modern - East German Everydas Culture and Politics"

  3. What a great compilation! This is the sound of my school days.
    However, track 07 does not really fit into this collection. It was recorded in 1993 - three years after East Germany (DDR) had ceased to exist as a political entity. Veronika Fischer, the singer, had already left East Germany 12 years ago. Her male partner in this track is Harald Juhnke, a well-known West German actor. Not only his voice, but also the lyrics make this song sound very West German - and that's what it is.
    Nevertheless, the rest is just great and makes me feel 35 years younger...
